With the continuous development of science, the type of agricultural film is increasing. Differing in nature, new type agricultural film also has differences in the way of use.

1. Perforated mulch: To facilitate sowing or planting, planting holes of a certain distance are prepared in accordance with the requirements of covered crops in the film production process. This not only saves labor, but also strengthens the warming effect of the film. Hence, it can be used as a dedicated plastic film for bulk crops. After being laid flat, it allows for direct sowing or transplanting on the pore.
2. Water pillow film: It is a polyethylene film bag with a radius of 30 cm. Filled with a small amount of water inside, it is laid on the ground. By sunlight during the day, the water is heated. At night, it emits heat to improve the greenhouse temperature. The transparent film or mostly black film is available.
3. Purple light film: The film absorbs and reflects purple light. Covered with such a film, the vegetable foliage allows for luxuriant growth. This can not only increases the yield, but also can improve the quality of leeks, celery, garland chrysanthemum, spinach, parsley, shallots, garlic, and other vegetables that have edible stem and leaf.
4. Yellow film: It can be used to cover celery and lettuce to ensure tall plants and late bolting. It can cover leguminous vegetables to ensure fast and sturdy growth, as well as significantly increased yield and quality. It can prompt cucumber budding and flowering, so as to increase output. It can cover tea tree to improve the yield and quality of tea.
5. Red film: It can be used for cultivating rice seedlings, ensuring vigorous growth and sturdy plants. It can also be used to cover leek to ensure wide and thick leaf, leading to the harvest in advance and the gain in yield.
6. Blue film: It is used for raising rice seedlings to ensure stocky property and enhance stress resistance. It is also applicable to cotton, strawberries, beans, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, melons, etc. for weeds control.
7. Floating film: It is a special plastic film directly covered on the ground where vegetables are concentrated. It is uniformly distributed with a large number of small holes, which ensure water, gas and heat circulation inside and outside the film, as well as natural adjustment of the temperature, moisture and gas inside the film. It can resist low temperature and frost, and can also prevent high temperature. The user can directly cover it on the crop, and then earth up around it to hold four sides of the film, so as to prevent being blown away. In early spring spinach, it can be applied on celery, garland chrysanthemum, radish, amaranth, and chives.
8. Light conversion film: This film comes with good tensile and light transmission properties, as well as dust-proof, anti-fog drop and anti-aging properties. Because of the addition of the fluorescent substance, it also achieves light conversion function. It can convert 80% light of the sunlight and infrared into red and orange light, which are conductive to greenhouse warming and insulation due to the high heat. At the same time, the red and orange light can be well absorbed by vegetables. Therefore, the light conversion film coverage can raise the temperature in greenhouse by 3-5℃, while increase the yield of vegetables by 20% - 40%.
9. Light selection mulch: This film allows the light of a specific wavelength to pass through, promoting plant growth, and having anti-droplet, thermal insulation and other functions. Currently, there are transparent UV type, scattered UV type, and other 40 types. Farmers can choose according different vegetable type and cultivation season.
